Something like 1st attempt, 2nd attempt, and 3rd attempt email notices to remotes sites to fix our link on their pages. The 1st attempt, 2nd attempt, and 3rd attempt emails would each be a separate template. Admin could also have option to suspend links after any of the stages above. Thanks

So the trick would be figuring out how to get it to follow redirects.
