What's your thoughts or work around for links members that sign up with an active recip link, and when you visit there site you find there is no menu link or text link of any kind on there page leading to their links page, even though the page does exist?
If there are no links to that page then nobody will ever find it - nor will the search engines. Might be an idea to add a condition that the page is viewable from their main site.
It puts a lot of work on the directory owner checking up on all these. It's amazing how many sites pull this stunt, and the numbers seem to be growing.
They think it's a nice little trick, but in all reality they're not getting the SEO from it either.
They are getting the advantages that each directory may offer with a recip link though. Which in my case sites with recips are placed near the top.
