I have a links site at http://midlaurel.com/links that I moved to http://scalinks.com... since it was 2.4 I upgraded the one on scalinks to the new 3.14 (I am a paid member)

OK...
well after the upgrade The links appear to be there, but I can't get to them... when I login it sees me I can get into the admin panel and change settings... but I can't find the links! The top jump menu shows all the cats, but they never list saying:

You don't have permission to view the section of the site. If you are not logged in, please login below. If you haven't yet, register.

So how do I get the new upgraded side to match the old on (with the cats and subcats are listed on the home page...) and turn off ANY permissions keeping anyone from getting to the links...

You need to go to your admin panel and update your usergroup permissions to set each group as being allowed to view the site.
