The easy way to determine that would be to try it. I'd only count on comment variables, but link ones might work. If the link ones do work, it'll slow down the page significantly since it'll require twice the queries.
{LINKTITLE} would of course be pointless to use since there's already a comment variable which gives the title of the associated link. See manual.

Can I use in content of this toplist linkvariables for example {LINKTITLE} or I must use only commnets variables?
