I alreay have sponsored links set up and its working great, but I tried to sponsor a membership and it didn't work. The funds didn't add by themselves after PayPal transaction accured, and when I added them manually, the daily fee is not being deducted.
Sponsorship for the usergroup is activated, daily fee is set and revert to usergroup when funds expire also set. Any ideas?
odd... I sponsored another membership manually - doesn't deduct funds. I tried deactivating it and activating again, also tried different one-word usergroup name, but you still probably identifying them by id #, so it didn't do anything..
Checking back now on the member I sponsored, they seem to have been demoted and their funds are down to 0.1. Which is a bug of some sort, since they should not be losing funds that fast, but not the same issue you're having.
If you fix this buy any chance please give me a whole file to rewrite over the one I've got. (I'm using v3.12 not sure how compatible it is with the latest version)
Yes, just uploaded a revision of 3.15 that should solve it. It no longer decriments on every page load, though it hasn't been a day yet so I don't have absolute confirmation that it'll deduct then besides it being logically compelled to.

It should add the funds and change the usergroup. It doesn't relate to deductions. You put the member in the sponsor usergroup and it didn't deduct?

Testing at links.webmastersite.net. Started the funds at 2, set to deduct .1 per day, already it's down to 1.9. Will see what it is tomorrow.

I hadn't noticed you were using 3.12. That explains why you get different behavior. I remember something of that sort back around then.

will I have to upgrade to 3.15? and if yes, will I be able to keep my changes in tables - new fields and templates etc?
