I receive the following error when upgrading from the admin panel on 4.1.6:
Unable to open in read mode ''
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/onlineco/public_html/v2/includes/filefunctions.php on line 51
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/onlineco/public_html/v2/includes/filefunctions.php on line 51
This happens on several different sites which have never had a problem upgrading before.

4.1.6/7 have a bug in the autoupgrade. Either overwrite classes/tar.php with 4.1.8's and try again, or upgrade manually.
