I managed to upgrade my test site that is online with no problem. However, I am unable to upgrade on my local computer. After whirring around for ages it finally comes up with a box saying doing I want to save or open autoupgrade.php

Also, did you manage to tweak the html writing? It still doesn't seem to be working.

Forget the upgrade problem - don't know what it was but when I looked this morning it had upgraded!

However, it looks like you forgot about the html problem I have. That's the only thing now that's holding me up from upgrading my sites.

Sounds like an apache hiccup.

Do you mean the checkbox for not applying template updates?

No - see https://www.webmastersite.net/forums/threads/html-...

I have a field into which I insert html for my affiliate banners. I use html because I have always had problems trying to change their code to wsn codes. In v.5 it seems I can no longer do this, and this is a big problem for me.

I also need to enter a script similar to:

<script src="http://www.mysite.co.uk/cgi-bin/books.pl?script&amp;amp;asinsearch=0375722165,0375722165,0375722165&amp;amp;grid=c:3,r:1,p,ifa,b,u"></script>

Done now... hopefully it hasn't created security holes.
