I clicked to upgrade to 5.1.0. RC1 and it came back with a fatal error telling me to run upgrade.php manually.
Did that but it just reported the same fatal error: Fatal error: Call to a member function numlevels() on a non-object in /home/bedsofpa/public_html/upgrade.php on line 700
I had upgraded earlier today to yesterday's release (was it beta 16?), and that went fine.
I had to extensively redo the sponsorship system to get category sponsorships working right, and that caused an upgrade.php error. Fixed.
You may have have missed some non-essential template changes that you can catch in RC 2 but I don't think there's any other impact, since the error happens after most of the upgrade has run.
