Of course you can use plain CSS and HTML... as you're aware CSS and HTML don't offer any dynamic options though so you end up with a static design. If you want to fill a WSN template with just plain HTML, feel free if you don't mind that HTML doesn't do much. If you want dynamic elements inside your HTML you have to indicate where to show what, which is what WSN templates allow you to do.

Do we have to use the TPL file for templates? What's wrong with just plain old CSS and HTML?
I ask, because I made a very professional looking template with CSS and HTML that I have no idea on how to integrate into WSN links.
Perhaps you could let me know how to integrate it, or tell me how to do away with TPL files altogether?
