I need to know how to call up the PHP variable for the chosen category when previewing a link submission (Suggest Link page).

I tried using $thislink->catid but it did not work.

My mistake. I was attempting to use the {CATID} variable inside of a toplist of categories, which I knew would not work.

I should have been using {LINKCATID}.
