It seems that the non-root subcategories are shown using the main.tpl template instead of the displaylinks.tpl.

The subcategories section of the displaylinks.tpl doesn't seem to do anything.

Subforums data is cached to speed it up, so it can only use the main.tpl version. 2.1.0 will be able to use different subforums templates.
