You mean like the facebook bottom bar? I find it irritating when bars stick to the top or bottom. Seems like a specialist use and not something the majority of websites should do, so I don't see why it should be in the default templates.
I don`t know the the facebook bottom bar. What I don`t mean is a footer that is always visible. What I mean is a footer which remains at the bottom of the page although there is little content on the page.
In WSN Links the footer jumps to the middle of the page if there is not enough content.
It`s okay if you think this is not an important problem. Everybody who want can still use the javascript solution.

I would like to see the footer stick at the bottom of the screen.
In the actual version it did not stick there.
So I use a javascript solution to do this.
