Hi, I am creating a new directory in which there will be 3 categories that will each require a yearly fee to be listed. Each category fee will require a different amount. I want to make sure I am understanding the directions in the manual to set this up. Please tell me if I am correct in my description below.
General Sponsorship Settings: Deduct the incrimental fee every 365 days Use different funds for each sponsorship level? No
Member Usergroup Promotion Activate? Yes Incrimental Fee (in USD): $22.50 Item Number: Sponsor Usergroup #:1 Revert to this usergroup # when funds expire: (no entry as they will have to pay to renew) Promote all links owned by member to a new link type? No Require all registrations from non-admins to be sponsored?No
Then I would do this same thing for each category that I am charging the yearly fee.
Second question is after the 365 days will each sponsor be notified to renew the listing?

If you want to charge for the listing a link you should do link type sponsorship, not member sponsorship.
People are notified when their funds run out, presuming you have that option set on the email preferences page.
Each category fee will require a different amount.
Per-category sponsorship isn't available until 4.1.
