Hello, Hmm, Well this is not the 1st time I've installed the script however I've changed various settings but none of the default folders etc. Firstly when I try to log out ... the message saying you've logged out appears then the screen changed to still being logged in - This is in both admin and public areas. I tried to add a single top level category - the following appears but qucikly vanishes from the screen:
[04-Dec-2005 07:16:02] PHP Warning: fopen(html//cat3.htm): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/alternat/public_html/altmodels/filefunctions.php on line 267 [04-Dec-2005 07:16:02] PHP Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/alternat/public_html/altmodels/filefunctions.php on line 268 [04-Dec-2005 07:16:02] PHP Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/alternat/public_html/altmodels/filefunctions.php on line 269 [04-Dec-2005 07:16:02] PHP Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/alternat/public_html/altmodels/filefunctions.php on line 270 [04-Dec-2005 07:16:02] PHP Warning: fopen(html///index.htm): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/alternat/public_html/altmodels/filefunctions.php on line 267 [04-Dec-2005 07:16:02] PHP Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/alternat/public_html/altmodels/filefunctions.php on line 268 [04-Dec-2005 07:16:02] PHP Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/alternat/public_html/altmodels/filefunctions.php on line 269 [04-Dec-2005 07:16:02] PHP Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/alternat/public_html/altmodels/filefunctions.php on line 270 [04-Dec-2005 07:16:20] PHP Warning: fopen(html//index.htm): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/alternat/public_html/altmodels/filefunctions.php on line 267 [04-Dec-2005 07:16:20] PHP Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/alternat/public_html/altmodels/filefunctions.php on line 268 [04-Dec-2005 07:16:20] PHP Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/alternat/public_html/altmodels/filefunctions.php on line 269 [04-Dec-2005 07:16:20] PHP Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/alternat/public_html/altmodels/filefunctions.php on line 270
The actualy category does appear though. True enough those mentions of not exist are correct. Some guidance? Michael
That states that haven't chmoded all the stuff for the static file generations you're telling it to do, and the extra slashes imply you have something odd with your paths/names in those settings.

Well of course the dynamic category is always there, but I presume the static pages you're requesting aren't generating.
