Hi all, I just wanted to share something I find very useful and was able to add very easily. It shows a toplist box for each category with a localized list (newest,most popular, highest rated, etc.). It also adds an RSS syndication link specific to the toplist -- even if you change it from the pulldown. This is really handy for viewers who want cross-section views of the directory and subscribe to their own sub-sections. Enjoy!
For example, let's say you have a Top 5 list on the main page. It will show the Top 5 across all your categories and you can syndicate that with the RSS link below it. Now, lets say you click into the category "Files". Now the Top 5 list appearing in Files category will show the top 5 links only in that category. Likewise, the RSS link in that category will syndicate only that particular top list and not the others. This way, users can drill down and see what's popular, etc. and then syndicate at any level.
