I'm having a problem with my site. Sometimes when I try to load it, I get an error saying I don't have permission to view the site. I've had different responses with different browsers -- Firefox, IE, and Safari. So far, Safari seems to be able to download it after a second or third attempt to reload the page, but Firefox and IE have pooped out completely. I can't load my website!
This problem just started showing up this evening.
I checked my permissions in my WSN links file, and they are currently rwx r-x r-x.
Any idea on what the problem could be and how to fix it?
What sort of "no permission" is this? A 403 forbidden error? Those seem to pop up from any sort of minor cgi/php issues from time to time, perhaps just when a site is under excessive load, only suggestion I'd have would be to ask your web host.
