But I have deleted all the pending validation items. At the pending validation items nothing is displayed. Regeneration seems not to update this number.
It's calculated dynamically at time viewed, so there's nothing which can fail to update. It looks like anything that's deleted but unvalidated is showing in the count though. Fixed.
