When having modrewrite on, {NUMBER} is showing uneven numbers for each link.

It's fixed in 4.0.40, not just 4.1.0, so it's unlikely you have a reason to not upgrade. Manually changing source takes much longer, and you're needlessly keeping all the other bugs fixed since 4.0.27. If you've made source changes, tell me about them and I can probably tell you how they can be be done upgradably in the future.

I have just upgraded to ver. 4.0.40, {NUMBER} is working fine
but when we have pagination each page starts links counting from number 1.

After upgraded to 4.0.41 each page starts links counting from number 1 regardless if mod rewrite is enabled or not.
