I believe I have everything selected to display subcats on the main page, but they do not appear.
In switches I have "Show subcategories on main page" On.
In admin->settings->categories I have: Max subcategories to show on main page: 6
I do not believe I have modified my templates to affect this, and to verify this I switched my templates to multilingual (I have not edited these whatsoever) and the subcats are still not displaying on the main page.
I'm sure this is a simple setting somewhere, but I cannot find it.

You need to regerate after making subcats on main page changes.
