I'm using WSN Links multilingual installation - default English - but there are no matches for whatever I search. All I get is: "Try searching for a more general term. " I've tried many like car, poker, casino, shoes, cehap hosting, etc..
I have allowed ppc search mode and default id 1 for UL search testing as instructed in my admin panel. What am I missing here? Thanks.
Hi I just started and obviously I only have 2-3 links in my directory. That's why I need to have some search feeds available - I do not mind if it is MSN, Altavista, Google, UL search, etc - just to have something! NO search result = poor directory/search engine. WSN links script's got so many features and this essential one is missing? Doesn't make sense to me. Thanks - yes, I'm planning to import some dmoz.org feeds - but this is gonna take some time and I need my site to be "ready" now.

What is ULSearch ?
I too have a problem with the search. I just tried a search for portraits, which I KNOW is in the description of a link on my site - it didn't find it.
I have also always had a problem with the search on your manual.
janim - No normal search engine other than DMOZ would allow their actual data to be put in the database of your site (there are some illegal crawling tools for doing so, of course), for business reasons, and when it comes to paid search like ulsearch they all apparently want to control the data involved as well (though I'm not so sure why).
Anyhow, if you want your site to be "ready" without your actually creating any content, suffice it to say that ulsearch results being the only content of a site would be amazingly pathetic. You should notice that ulsearch does not provide decent results, it's just an advertising scheme through which you can perhaps make a little money if you have sufficent real content that your visitors don't mind the ad links. Perhaps you should buy an existing directory site if you want a quality directory without putting any work into it.

Do you actually have any links containing those terms in the title or decription?
ULSearch results are dynamiclly inserted, so they don't count.
