I'm trying to log in for the first time since upgrading. I know I'm an admin: http://www.eslgo.net/memberlist.php?action=profile&id=1 but when I click on admin control panel after logging in it asks me for my password again. I supply my username and password again but nothing happens. I get stuck on the admin login page: You are not currently logged in as an administrator. Please supply your username and password in order to gain access to the adminstration area:

Please help confused

Thanks, but I read that. It says to login as a user and then go to the admin panel. As I mentioned, after logging in as a user I still can not go to the admin panel as it asks for my password again. When I enter my password again, nothing happens.

Do you need help following the steps listed in the manual entry? If you are not in debug mode, not integrating, and change the usergroup via phpmyadmin then this should work fine.

The nature of cookies is that they carry to subdirectories so if you were logged in on the user side you would be on admin. So presuming you are indeed an admin, I'll presume you're not logged in. Check your cookie paths (got a conflict with another wsn install?), try a different browser. If cookies are okay, create/alter the new user as the manual says.

There's zero php knowledge involved in using phpmyadmin, it's just a program designed for users like any program, but see scripts.webmastersite.net/w...dex.php?section=inspection
