I have created a link type called featured. i have set this up so that the link will be featured for 365 days. However, they seem to revert back to standard links every day.
How exactly did you go about setting it to be featured for 365 days? Link type sponsorship? What are your sponsorship settings? Sounds like you've got it set so that it deducts more than whatever you're having them deposit in the course of a day.
It seems that when a link is purchased it sets the remaining funds to 0. So the next day the script see's that there are no funds and ends the listing.
I have changed the currency to £GBP.. So they pay £25 via paypal..
The script doesnt care if it is £ or $ though surely because all references to $ are merely in the language files. I would have thought that when someone pays £25.00 it should show them as having $25 left immediately after purchasing a listing. But it says 0.

Hi
I have created a link type called featured. i have set this up so that the link will be featured for 365 days. However, they seem to revert back to standard links every day.
Any idea why this might happen?

I've got...
Deduct the incrimental fee every (365) days (to make it a one time fee, just set this to a large number).
Incrumental fee: $25

Would it be better to have...
Deduct the incrimental fee every (1) days (to make it a one time fee, just set this to a large number).
Incremental fee: 0.6849315068....
Which eqautes to $25 per year?
If not, how can i set it up so that their £25 fee lasts them 365 days.
Link type promotion.

It should work out exactly the same either way, it'll still deduct 0.068 each day. What funds level do you see for the link when you edit it?
If you're editing the type manually, it won't stick unless you set the funds.

I tested link type sponsorship just last week, there's no problem with it that I can find. See www.webmastersite.net/forum...d_Links_-_Paypal-6976.html for my settings.
