The problem is, if I let you do that it'll break WSN's jquery-dependent features. WSN is running jQuery 1.7.2 now. Both older versions and the newer 1.8 cause problems in Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 and 10 (1.8 also breaks the konqueror browser almost entirely so the page appears unstyled). I had to update jquery because there was no fix for IE 9 on older jquery versions, and both the autocomplete and lightbox plugins were abandoned and had to be swapped out for new ones that can run on the new version.
