There are two links at the bottom of the advanced settings page... Create new setup file and create database schema.
What do you do once you have created them? Is it a case of literally downloading every wsn file from the original site, and uploading to the new site, then run setup.php?
I tried that and got the same error as above
Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: template in /home/sites/accommodation-search.co.uk/public_html/setup.php on line 36
Some clearer instructions on how you create an installation of wsn links with all of the same settings, templates and database fields as an existing installation would be really appreciated.
There's nothing wrong with the setup. You must have not uploaded all the files. Please use the automatic setup so that you don't have to upload the files.
If it's a different server, check servertest.php to be sure it qualifies too.
I've been asking so many questions on here lately I must be driving you mad. So I feel a bit awkward with this reply but....
Automatic setup will not work for me no matter how much I try. I get an error saying something like "Invalid Packet size 2" and then it deletes itself.
I tried installing by uploading and then running setup.php and got the errors I mentioned above. I tried 4 times, uploading, installing, error, delete files and databse, try again.
Nothing worked.
In the end I installed 4 series and upgraded to 5 which worked fine.
But Paul, you can ignor this because as I have been typing I suddenly realised exactly where I have gone wrong. I cant believe I forgot!! My server requires a line in the .htaccess to run PHP5

If you can't run autosetup, please request free installation service so I can find out why and at least change the server test to disqualify that sort of server. scripts.webmastersite.net/w...ustom=yes&TID=installation

No paul its fine, it was PHP 5 not running. I hsve to use a line in .htaccess to tall the server to use PHP5 instead of PHP4
It all works fine when I do it correctly

Adding PHP version detection to the autosetup.
