At the moment, I don't wanna implement Rating on my page. But later, I wanna add it.
-Will there be any problems if I change the templates and admin settings to "Rating on" later in time? -Will my links in the directory/database be able to receive that data later, without re-adding them?

Don't change the templates, just use the switches page, Admin -> Settings -> Switches.
