I stumbled on spam complaints with my host today.. I think I would like to turn off automatic notifications of members about new links and categories. How can I make it "no" by default? Then, I guess, I need to figure out a way of how to educate my members using their profile settings to subscribe and unsubscribe...
Isn't there a switch to just turn off subscriptions?
Anyhow a member has to specifically request to subscribe in the default WSN Links. I don't know if you've customized a template something to cause 'yes' to become a default.
You know what Paul - you're right. It is "no" by default, I just checked. Looks like people just turn it on and then too lazy to turn it off and just mark me as SPAM.. I'm having this experiance with AOL users.
Sorry for bothering. Thanks for your help!
