How to do so that on a home page of a directory, the link "submit listing" would not show?

At Admin Panel -> Templates -> Manage Templates -> "Main Index", delete the line
<IF {THISMEMBERGROUPCANSUBMITLINKS} or {SWITCH_DENIALPAGE}><li> <a href="suggest.php?action=addlink">{LANG_TITLE_SUGGESTNEWLINK}</a></li></IF>(or if it's an english-only site, it'll have "Submit Listing" instead of "{LANG_TITLE_SUGGESTNEWLINK}")
