my site displays 14 links per page for each category. I woule like to display a banner ad in the middle of the links or description. Something like when the category page is displaying the 6 links or descriptions, there will be a banner ad in between. Any idea?

This doesn't appear to have anything to do with columns, so I'm not sure what the title is about.
I don't see how it could be possible, except maybe tacking it onto a particular link number with <IF {LINKNUMBER} is 6>banner code</IF>.
