So I've read about the link checkers in the manual and here on the forums, but for the love of God I can't find it in my administration. I expected it to be in the Maintenance section with the "Duplicate Members" and everything...
I'm using 3.3.13

Maybe you have link checkers switched off. Go to settings->switches, make sure it's switched on. Once it's on, refresh the admin panel menu and the checkers have a whole section to theirselves.

What exactly is the script looking for when checking duplicate links? I have a directory where tons of links have the same title, and they are all marked as duplicates although the URLs are different.

The code (as you can see in admin/linkchecks.php) only grabs the url and id number, it doesn't even query for the title.

Just went through checking my duplicates and it's only marked the one where it had the same url.
