So its been noted in other threads that once a spammer has discovered your Guest book, its free reign on spamming there.
Ive tried banning all the offending IP addresses, to no avail. And was satisfied in just moderating all the posts by setting it for approval only. Then I can choose what is being posted.
However, when I choose to reject an offending spammer, the system automatically sends a rejection notice to them. Does this not just let them know that Im reading their post there by giving them incentive to post more?
There isn't a way in the ancient WSN Guest available unless you know PHP and would like to dig around admin/index.php. If I get around to updating it, it'll have the security image to prevent spam like the other scripts.

How do I turn off the automatic rejection notice?

Well, thanks Paul, I wasnt too sure if there was a way around it.
Perhaps Ill pass this on to my PhP literate friend.
