Geocoding UK listings

I still get listings showing on maps as though they are in the USA, even though they have a UK address and postcode. Sometimes if a UK address has a word found in a USA address, Google instantly places the marker in the USA.
So, can we please have the option to Geocode from just Postcode, even if the other address details are present.
Can you give me a couple of sample addresses to test with, that get geocoded to the wrong country? The country name is normally sent to google in the geocode request so it's odd that when sending it United Kingdom it'd end up using something from elsewhere. There may be another country hint parameter I can set.
