I'm not sure what happened but I've upgraded to V-3.4.3 and I get errors connecting to db? Is there anything to change in the config.php file? I think I screwed it up! The db name has to changed correct? This is what I get when I go to the /admin/index.php file Warning:
mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /home/virtual/site41/fst/var/www/html/directory/config.php on line 24 Error: The file templates/default/sitedead.tpl does not exist. Error: The file templates/multilingual/sitedead.tpl does not exist. Cannot establish a database connection. MySQL returns the error Access denied for user: '@localhost' to database 'primaveraphoto_com_-_links'. (It's possible that the web host's database is currently down, if so this is a temporary error and will go away when the database is accessible again.) WSN Links 3.4.3
I can't say anything useful since you didn't say what you were upgrading from. A config.php example is at scripts.webmastersite.net/w...inks/wsnmanual/articles/78 but if you haven't upgraded properly from a 3.2x or previous series then using a new config will prevent you from being able to upgrade. If you have a copy of the old version you used the config.php from it would be more useful.
Ok, I did a clean start... just did a full install all is fine now.
Just a questions. I tried to look for the option to show the username or the email address somewhere in admin but can't find it? It is currently showing my email address.
I should have been a bit more clear. On my previous version it would show the persons username rather than the person's email address. You know in the top bar it has "Welcome talk2mark@emil***.com, the newest member." on my old version it would give the person's username.

Admin panel -> settings -> switches -> treat emails as usernames.
