With WSN codes = OFF and/or Smilies = OFF and/or WYSIWYG = OFF
If someone tries to submit a comment form but has not filled in required fields, the resulting replacement (advanced) editor page has all/any disabled features showing (smilie box w/o smilies in it) as if they are ON.
The sign guestbook shows the advanced editor by default apparently, thus it shows the empty smilies box, WYSIWYG & WSN Codes stuff right off the bat.
I'm guessing these extras should be hidden if the switches are off in the admin settings.. ?
The options, although shown, are not usable.
- In Opera 8.51 I see all disabled options - In IE 5.00 I see smilies and WSN Codes, not the WYSIWYG toggle - In Firefox 1.0.7 same as IE5
I am referring to the WSN Links member guestbook, not the WSN Guest script.
Sorry, my mistake. The option isn't global I guess -- "WYSIWYG for link and category descriptions". Although the switch appears to effect other message/text entry points.

Sign guestbook? WSN Guest doesn't have WYSIWYG.
Adding conditionals for smilies/codes.
I don't believe there is an option to turn WYSIWYG globally off. Where?
