When selecting: Registration Type: E-mail activation code
the following comment arises when registering:
" You've already registered, you can't register two accounts "
Thanks.
Paul, I have changed back the registration type in order not to require activation code, but from now on, seems that the above message can not be avoided.
The whole point is to prevent people from registering a new user name (though if someone's smart enough to delete all their cookies they can still bypass the protection).
Paul, I'm working on a rural (agricultural) directory. On those areas sometimes one pc is used by various people. On this situation one pc can be use to register different user accounts for different people.
Considering this, I would like to suggest a 'yes/no - options to prevent people from registering' at member Settings in order to stablish if this feature is enabled or no, according to the type of directory we are building.
Thanks.

For any registration, if you have already registered you will be told not to register again. It seems to me that's proper...

Paul,
Strangely I'm having this message for new users (with new user name) trying to register.

Thanks damon and Paul for clarifying.
