I have most of a 'dark' style completed, using and drawing upon the dark style of WSN Forum.
I've commented parts of the .css but still not sure if all styles are used or where they are used. Very many areas to check! Some I am investigating will show a bright yellow to help me identify the area <-> css relationship(s).
I'll continue to work on this since this is what I would like to use for a production site. If anyone wants to help get this polished off, perhaps add the css changes as a reply and I'll incorporate them into this archive. Once in a complete state, I'll attach it to this message.

Can anyone suggest how to cure this problem I'm having with the "Browse" buttons for Opera?
The text of the button (file open buttton for selecting attachment) isn't visible. Shows okay in IE5 and Firefox.
