I am trying to increase description length to 400 characters. I have entered the amount of 400 in admin/settings/links/maximum characters to allow in link description: and submitted the value. It is stated there as 400, but when I am calling the submit form, the character tracker below the description field displays 100 characters, only.

ahhhh, please, disregard my post. I am a dummy .... the problem has been solved.
In one browser window I had the admin of site 1 while I was checking the functionality of site 2 .... I need a vacation LOL
