Links can have a file attachment that display a banner. When several links have banners, the banners are displayed at the top of the page separated from the respective links. For an example, see the attached file. How should the template, in this case it is search.tpl, be changed? Should something other than the template be changed?

I'd guess this is related to your attachment columns setting. In settings->general set the number of attachments per column to 0.

Setting number of attachments to 0 per column or row did make the banners display next to their respective links. The setting, to minimize confusion, is shown in the attached image.

My reply posted September 28 omitted a word (i.e. "not") that changes the meaning of that message. The message should have been:

"Setting number of attachments to 0 per column or row did NOT make the banners display next to their respective links. The setting, to minimize confusion, is shown in the attached image."

For an example of the problem, go to http://airman.com/guide. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Enter "aviation" (without quotes) in the Search box and then click on the Search button.

What should be done to display each link directly below its banner?

You probably still have table-related html there in the template.

Thanks for the tip! After removing a pair of table-related HTML codes, the link is displayed directly below its banner -- just as I wanted.
