I wish adding a new field in the submit form to give the possibilitie to put an url of image or video instead of just ask any files from local hard drive.
Maybe you're looking for the WSN codes? But then I don't see where a field comes in. And if you're talking about an image with a url in a field, what's the problem with using HTML?
when a submitter would add an image attachment it's necessary to examine in the local hard disk to find it no ? so if the submitter wants to add an image or movie from a website ... at this moment is not possible right ?
i just want to add a fields to let the submitter put an url for his attachment ... -http://www.anywebsite.xxx/items/any_pict_or_movie.xxx
Maybe you mean uploading (or sideloading) an file from a URL? I can't see the point, and it's legally problematic to be the one copying from another site.
But if someone wants to show a youtube video, for example, all they need to do is type the youtube wsn code.

Hi, on my sites I have added a new field and just type in the url. But you have to allow the member group to use html first in your admin.
