Please don't bash on me, as I did read the license.txt, so I'm fully armed with your licensing restrictions, but I was wondering if this makes it any different:
I was considering integrating it into a CMS I'm making(GPL), and read your license.txt, and I think I may have hit a conundrum wrapped in an enigma.
I'm not allowed to modify the basic. Can I purchase it, modify it and release the modded links module at no charge?
Should I just look for the most suitable GPL links system?
I'm not very savvy at this, and I don't mean to insult you guys, or try to get something extra from you. I just don't want to infringe on your product. I really liked your script, but will happily scrap the project if this is a no-no.
You can't release any non-GPL code as GPL. You need to find a GPLed script if it's going to be used in a project you will be releasing GPLed. (Something under a BSD-style license could also be used in a GPL application, I suppose.)
