If it's an upgrade bug then obviously you won't be paying. But asking me to solve it in the dark with my hands tied behind my back is unrealistic.

It would be a good idea, though only absolutely necessary for WSN Forum to update URL caches, if you're copying the database. I don't recall a place WSN Links uses the URL caches in a default configuration.
