I have been using WSN Links for a month now, so i thought I'd give a little bit of feedback on my experience with it.

When I first purchased WNS links I had spent over 3 months searching around different scripts and never did find anything that could do what I wanted. I'll be honest, I didn't beleive that WSN links was going to cut the mustard either but at such a low price i thought I'd give it a try.

Well i can honestly say, and I'm not trying to kiss anyone arse her, WSN links is an incredible script. It is so flexible there has not been one thing so far that have not been able to achieve with it. It's bloody genius!

Even though i have a couple of guys working with me who are very experienced with PHP, I have not had to consult them on anything yet. I've had a couple of things that stumped me, but i just posted on this forum, got a reply and I realised how simple it was.

Anyone reading this forum wondering if WSN links is worth the money... It is, and a lot more. (Please don't put the price up smiling face)

This script will do almost anything. It will create any kind of directory you want, and could be easily adapted to be lots of other things. I have even worked out how this script could be turned into a bloody good community website.

Two things I don't like about WSN links...

The name. The name WSM links does not do this script justice. This is FAR more than a links script.

Search. I don't think the search is that great. Ive tried all of the settings and I can't get search to perform how i would like it to. For example, if a user searches for "Tonbridge Wells", Wells in somerset comes up before tonbridge wells does. This example can be fixed by setting the seach to "all the words" but this throws many other searches out. There must be a way to list search results by relevancy the the whole search string. Some other PHP Mysql scripts manage it. However, the search is adequate, I just think it could be better.

But I am VERY happy with this script and i thought I'd let you know.

Two sites I created with WSN Links

I thoroughly agree. I have been using it for a year now and have put it to many different uses, including a virtual dog show!

Although Paul must be fed up with me asking so many questions <G>

Have you tried the mysql fulltext search? Theoretically it should give more relevant results than the other options, as long as you have MySQL 4.1+.

Been using wsnlinks for years now and recommend the script to anyone that wants to start sometime of directory. One of the most versatile scripts I have worked with plus easy to make things look the way you want them. Awesome script plus I own a few other scripts they have too and they are great scripts too.

In fact I'm so happy with it i just baught 5 more licences and look forward to using them in the new year. smiling face

Thanks for you time developing this script Paul, you have a loyal and regular customer in me now.

One question, if i use one of my licences to build a site but then decide not to continue the site and shut it down, does the licence become re-usable on another site?

Yes, the number of licenses you own is the number of active sites you can be running at a time.
