I'd suggest asking your web host if there might be a mod_security rule that's being tripped or any other security configurations they know of that could throw 405 errors.

I am getting a 405 Not Allowed error after I put a name into wsninstachat

This must be something server-specific, since it doesn't happen on my copies of the script in Chrome. I just put up a test copy at http://www.philosophyforums.com/wsninstachat/
