Paul,
At link expiration would be useful to hide the total comments associated to that link. Now comments of hidden links are appearing when searching for comments and for members. Comments of hidden links also appear at member profile. With this results hidden links are also found.
Maybe we can have a variable 'hidethread' or simmilar to hide the entire list of comments associated to the link, but not to use the actual hide variable for each comment because when we'll need to unhide the link we'll need also all the comments to appear again (with the exception of the comments that were previously hidden directly).
Maybe at link settings we can have the alternative of selecting:
'When links expire, the link and the associated thread should be deleted instead of merely hidden?' yes/no
Also the hide option at link editing can consider hidding the associated thread. |
