Creating a reciprocal link manager

Title Creating a reciprocal link manager
Message Text Hello, I'm new here and this is my first post. From what I can tell of WSN Links so far, it's POWERFUL!!! Maybe too powerful for my needs; like cracking a walnut with a sledge hammer. I'm trying to use WSN Links as a reciprocal link manager. So for example, I don't need the full blown membership system. I don't need PM's or IM's. I don't need advance searches that include search by member. I don't need registration that asks for default style, AIM, ICQ, etc. I don't really need members to be able to create private subscription lists. I'm sure there is more. But obviously I do need a subset of the membership. I can't just disable it in Switches. I need people to be able to submit a Site Name, URL, description, reciprocal link, etc. Further I love how WSN Link is one of the only affordable scripts that has auto reciprocal link checking to make sure partners continue linking to me; it has payment systems incorporated in it to allow partners to pay for featured placement; it can create RSS feeds by category; and it allow me as the admin to override many things, such as give some a free Featured Listing or not require a reciprocal link. My question, can someone (perhaps who has used WSN Links as just a reciprocal link manager) give me pointers on which switches to set and which modifications will need to be made? I know that WSN Links can be a POWERFUL reciprocal manager and that's what I need. A powerful reciprocal link manager, nothing more, nothing less. And now a features question: For the sake of argument, let's say I have the domain www.example.com and my directory lives at www.example.com/directory. I have a network of sites, sports.example.com, travel.example.com, and business.example.com. And for ease of maintenance, I decide as I said to host my network's directory at www.example.com/directory rather than maintain a separate niche directory for each subdomain. Within the directory I have the categories sports, travel, and business. I'd like to have a way that when someone submits a link under the sports category, they're required to link back to sports.example.com; a submission under business requires a link back to business.example.com; and so on. In short, can WSN Links handle different reciprocal links by category? Thank you in advance.
