Note that 3.4.0 is just another maintinence release, it doesn't have new features (unless {LINKNUM + type + COMMENTS} and the bulk editing of categories being paginated count). The only reason it's not 3.3.23 is that the number was getting unwieldy and people have been refering to versions incorrectly as 3.21 and the like, which causes confusion when the actual version called 3.21 was released a year or so ago, thus I need a version number that people can remember.
Although I don't like to break my versioning logic, I'll claim PHP 4.4.0 as precident -- it was just a bugfix of the last 4.3 version. |
