If I manually click "generate html now" in the admin panel then it goes through the steps and reginerates all pages. However at random steps it tells me that i need to chmod a certain file to 666. This just happens occasionally and it looks like all files are generated, even the ones that gave me the warning.
If I set it to auto reginerate when needed (no load distribution) and modify a link or category then I get a notice at the top of the edit screen telling me that i need to chmod the relavent files and it does not regenerate the pages.
All files are obviously set to 666 now or i wouldn't be able to regenerate all from the admin panel. I have verified this several times through ftp.
Is it possible that the pages cant be generated if someone is pulling them at the time? Any thing else I can try? Can someone verify this isn't a bug?
