I'm trying to set up new field called siteoptions (for example)
It's going to be an addition the site submission template
Basically the options will video, gallery, forums etc.
On the description page it will just show a pic or text stating Forum, Video or an image
So I have a few questions
I believe I would set it up like this
Link Field: siteoptions
Type: Checkboxes
Check This: Make this a user-submittable field (N/A for usergroup and setting)
Check This: Allow users to edit field
For options:
video,forums,gallery,etc.
1. How or Can I add new options to that field after I initially create it? I might want to add new site options as technology increases for example
2. On the details page do I use
{video} is 1
Video
I basically want what ever is checked to show up in the description I might use an image or I might use text.
I'm just not sure if the options for the checkboxes are variables or not
I'm also really wondering how can you edit those options after you made them. |
