Parse error
Posted May 29, 2012 - 11:20 AM:

Hello Paul

I get this error when I go on a forum, if I come back in the same session on this forum, the error no longer appears.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '&' in classes/member.php(1329) : eval()'d code on line 1

Thank you for your response.
Cordially.
Francis

Looks like a problem with the member rating formula. The upgrade should've corrected it, but apparently not, so go to Admin -> Members -> Settings and just submit the settings as is to resave, which should remove the html entities.

I can't imagine how this error would persist unless there's a differently-bad member rating formula. If you tell me what your formula is that might help but I'll probably need to see the site: scripts.webmastersite.net/w...t/wsnforum/inspection.html

Hello Paul

The formula is the original $ rating = ($ this-> topics * 2) + ($ this-> posts)
Apparently the error disappeared with the last update.

Very good Sunday.
Cordially.
