There's no affiliateprogram checkbox distributed in WSN, so it must be a field you've added, which does whatever you've designed it to do.
Post the template HTML you're using and I'll see why that doesn't retain the value. It's also possible that you haven't added the field but only have the html, which then won't do anything... check the Add Fields page to see if it's listed.
Code that does nothing and does not appear to work..sounds like my doing all right
Must be a personal hack I put in years ago and forgot about.
First installed wsn on my links site circa 5 years ago. Did nothing with it for years and it sat as an almost empty directory. Now back at it with latest version upgrade. Have grand plans to make it the best directory in my niche. Time will tell on that front.

On the link add page I note a tickbox titled affiliateprogram
I have searched knowledge base and this forum but can't find out what it does.

Also .. I ticked this on a test link and saved it.
When I click the edit button and re examine link settings
the affiliateprogram box appears unticked.
Small bug perhaps with the form not auto inserting previously saved values
or perhaps said tickbox selection value not being saved to db on form save?
