This should work: {DIRURL}/index.php?action=unsubscribeall&memberid={THISMEMBERID}&code={THISMEMBERACTIVATIONCODE}
That's the universal-unsubscribe that stops all kinds of emails, as seen at the top of the subscriptions page.

It works fine but it does not work if you are logged out.
The problem is that after I sent mass emails in the past I get lots of users who forgot their login info and hence they ask to be unsubscribed.

It's supposed to work when logged out. What does the link they get look like? Does it have their member id number in the URL?
